About the Instructor
Kenta Shimakawa is an experienced educator with over seven years of teaching electric, acoustic, and bass guitar. He helps students cultivate a deep passion for music through structured, student-centered instruction that covers a broad range of genres and styles. Lessons emphasize technique, musicality, and repertoire development, tailored to each student’s goals and learning pace.
Location
• In-person lessons are held at my studio in Sunnyvale.
• In-home lessons at the students home are also offered (a travel fee is required).
• Online lessons are also offered at a reduced rate.
Lesson Lengths
• 30 minutes - $70
• 45 minutes - $100
• 60 minutes - $125
Trial lessons are offered at a discount (50% off)

Weekly Students
Priority is given to regular weekly students. Tuition is billed monthly based on the number of scheduled lessons.
