About Kenta
I’m a guitarist, composer, and educator based in Sunnyvale, California. I received my BFA in Jazz Performance at the New School for Jazz in 2018, released my debut record Glimpse in 2019 to critical acclaim, and toured Tokyo in 2024 in support of the record.
As an educator, I’m passionate about helping students develop a life-long love for music while also developing strong fundamentals.
Private Lessons
Tailored one-on-one lessons in guitar, improvisation, jazz, and contemporary music. Lessons are available online, at my home studio in Sunnyvale, or at your location within the North San Jose – Palo Alto area. Flexible 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions designed for students of all levels and goals.
